Princess on a Penny...A Girl that Can!

An adorable friend and "designing woman" in Florida sent this creative Girlie Girl project.
Kim Preston-Niemann is known for her "Princess on a Penny" projects.  She is a Girlie Girl that "can"...on any task she tackles.

Kim used an old green chandelier, some discarded jewelry, and a can of white spray paint to create this gorgeous masterpiece.

As a Princess on a Penny you will need the following supplies for this project:
  • Can of spray paint
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Masking tape
  • Discard jewelry...pearls are the choice of this Girlie Girl
  • Chandelier
  1. First, tape off the light bulb sockets on your old chandelier.
  2. I would suggest hanging your old chandelier from a tree outside a little below eye level.
  3. In quick light strokes apply spray paint to chandelier.  You may need several coats to cover ornate details but apply paint lightly to avoid drips.
  4. Carefully remove tape from light bulb sockets while chandelier is still damp.
  5. Allow chandelier to dry thoroughly.
  6. Using hot glue gun, carefully apply discarded jewelry as desired to the fixture.
  7. Have your masterpiece...fit for a Princess... wired in your home by an experienced electrician.
  8. Sit back in the glow of your creation and enjoy!
Remember....a Girlie Girl can....with a Paint Can!
