Okay Ladies...grab your pearls and a 2" angled paint brush and let's spruce up our trim!
Baseboards and door openings take the most abuse in our homes. From wet dog noses to shoe scuffs, wear and tear is apparent on these little jewels. Breathe new life into your trim with a fresh coat of paint!
For this project you will need:
2" angled paint brush
Painters tape
Semi-gloss latex paint
Carefully tape off your trim with your painters tape.
Next, take you brush and load it lightly with paint.
In short strokes, add paint to your trim.
If painting door trim, use short downward strokes followed by one complete (length) upward stroke. This full length stroke smoothes out brush strokes on your trim.
Finally, peel off your painters tape BEFORE the paint dries.
Viola! You just added some pizazz to the room girlie style. To me, nothing makes a room feel newer or cleaner than a freshly painted trim.
